Sunday, May 4th, 2008

One of our most beautiful Walks is enriched this year by the involvement of the good people at Jane's Walk, an annual event celebrating the visionary spirit of Jane Jacobs.

Winding through the scenic beauty of the Rouge River Valley, this invigorating trek over varied terrain makes a perfect early spring outing for adventurous spirits.  We’ll journey through field, stream, and forest, and encounter myriad plants and flowers returning to life after a long winter, along with all manner of local animals – it’s not unusual to come across a beaver or two.

Time:

10:00 a.m.

Start:

Rouge Valley Conservation Centre (aka Pearse House)

Walk Length:

5K - 8K

Notes:

Rugged terrain hiking boots strongly recommended!
